Uther will be haunted by this event in the future...
One thing I wanted to do differently with the werewolves in my comic, is that they turn into wolves when they die. They have one last shapeship when their heart stops beating. An injured werewolf who's stuck in wolf-form knows they're near death's door!
This is also why you're able to see elves decorate their armor with werewolf pelts.
